How much strategy and thinking does baseball have compared to sports like basketball, football, hockey, soccer, volleyball, and cricket?

Answer
Well said Kevin. It would take days/weeks to explain.
1 small scenario here. Runner on first with 1 out. 8th batter is up and pitcher on deck.
Both sides are thinking same thing.
Is the 8th hitter gonna sac bunt the runner to 2nd base? Or will he swing away because the pitcher is on deck? If he does hit, there is good possibility he will hit into the double play. He's the 8th hitter.
The defensive will most likely play double play depth ( how far from the plate they are positioned), with the corners (1st and 3rd base) playing close to the hitter anticipating the bunt.
Plus how does the pitcher approach the hitter? Does he throw him low and outside letting him bunt the ball? Or high and tight to prevent a bunt, but may hit the batter.

Baseball is one huge chess game. There are thousands of scenarios.
"I've forgotten more about baseball then you'll ever know."

If you really aren't familiar with the game and like anime. Watch the Anime MAJOR
It does an excellent job of introducing children to the world of baseball. Its very addicting, and it will also teach your children to read or learn Japanese. LOL

How can I feel comfortable stretching in front of people?

Nicnac

Ok so i'm a 16 year old girl and i've been running at a local track. I know u need to stetch before u run and and some other exercises like sports practices and bla bla bla watever. But i dont like stretching in front of people unless like my whole team is stretching too. So how can i feel comfortable stretching in front of people when i'm by myself?

Answer
I know when I watch other runners stretch, it's because I'm trying to get (and remember) good ideas for stretching from them! If you find people watching you stretch on occasion, that's probably what they're doing. People stretch, warm up, and prep for races in all sorts of ways. Do what's right for you, but always be on the lookout for ideas from other runners too!
