Any Runners out there?

Does anyone use a GPS watch to run?
I just want a watch that will measure the distance I run, the time I do it in, and my pace. I want a watch that costs under 150 dollars.... Can anyone help me out here?

THANKS!

I used to use my Garmin 301 until my Lab chewed it. I loved it. I was about to purchase a Garmin 305 for $170 CDN but got an iPhone and downloaded an app instead.
I would still recommend the Garmin. They have great customer service.

You can get a Garmin 305 or lower for under $150 US

The 05s are better than the 01s (as in 105, 205, 305 or 101, 201, 301). I think they are newer.
The difference between 100 and 200 is that 100 runs on batteries, the 200s are rechargeable (as are the 300s). The 300s come with heartrate monitor and may have a few more features.

Even the basic model will give you pace and distance.

I loved that I could just run and not pre plan my routes and have instant feedback. I also used it for Geocaching. LOL.

A good runner's watch?

My husband is looking for a good runner's watch. Something not too pricey. Can anyone help me out? Links are also very helpful.

Answer
Forbes magazine tested two good watches and gave very interesting reviews.

Garmin's Forerunner 201, which sells for about $160, even has a 100-by-64-pixel screen that can show you a map of where you've been and how to get back to where you started from--handy for trail and road runners, less so for those who train on a track, and Timex's Bodylink System, which sells for about $300.

It depends on whether your husband is a techno-gadget fan, but either watch is suitable and quite good. I'd buy the $160..just because $300 seems a bit excessive .
