I'm getting lipo in two weeks and have been running 3 miles daily, watching calories and taking Alli. My wedding is in November.. what can i do to be sure I dont gain back the weight before then?

Answer
Lift weights! Your a girl, so it is impossible to for you to get bulky, you have no testosterone. Lifting weights is the best way to loose weight, it increases your metabolism so you burn more calories at rest. Also as far as the cardio goes, you need to challenge yourself. A simple way of explaining it is this: When you are 4 years old, you go to kindergarten. At first you learn some, but if you were to stay in kindergarten for 20 years would you be genious? No! Exercise is the same way, you must challenge yourself each time to do more. I highly recommend a Personal Trainer.

When you are in legal trouble, who do you see? A Lawyer.
When you are sick, who do you go to?
A Doctor.
When you have financial problems, who do you go to? A accountant
When you want to get in shape, who do you go to? A Personal Trainer!

No offense, but you would of got a way better deal if you had decided agaist lipo and just got a personal trainer. Lipo patients gain the weight back 90% of the time.

How many more calories do you burn running a mile outside rather than on a treadmill?

I've heard that it is much better exercise running a mile outside, than it is running one on a treadmill. Is this true? If so, how many more calories do you burn per mile outside? PLEASE answer lol I want to know whether I should break my neck to run at the track or not. THANKS! [:

Answer
I wish I can tell you how many calories you burn, but there are watches that detect your heart rate and from there you should be able to calculate you BMR. However, from my experience, it is much more of a workout running on natural terrain than a actual belt. I believe treadmills are more for breathing conditions, in which they may be helpful. But it's not like the real deal like running in the park. You sweat more and tire quickly!
