Can a greasy meal make your blood pressure go up temporarily? I'm confused. I think I have HBP.?

Tonight I was with a friend thats a nurse and after a large greasy mexican meal and after we just walked in the door, she took my BP and it was 155/84 Pulse 65! She wanted to see my pulse cause I'm a runner. Now a couple hours later its 125/73 P 63. She says I need to get my BP under control. Should I be more freaked out.Sometimes it can be like 145/85. But thats when I've just gotten up and say walked into a doctors room and been asked a lot of questions, oh and I hate the squeezing feeling on my arm. They (nurse) usually say oh my god way to high. Then the doctor usually says its fine. I sometimes pursue it, and sometimes not. Now at home I have a digital BP monitor. At home if I just sit down and take it, sometimes I get something like 135/81 with a pulse of 55.If I relax, like watch tv and let it go while I'm distracted I usually get something like 125/80 P 55. It fluctuates. If I play with my breathing I can get anywhere from 119/ 70 P46(when I've been running consistantly)127/76
Thanks for the answers. I don't normally think about it but my nurse friend was flipping out about it, which got me thinking and taking readings. Thanks again.

Answer
I have to ask, are you a runner? Play sports? By the looks of your B/P and Pulse it seems like you do exercise or are very active. Think about it if you are active and you 'stress your heart out' (this is good stress on your body) you raise your B/P and pulse. When you relax and aren't doing anything or just hanging out (watching tv, on the computer, etc, etc) your HR and B/P will drop to what is a 'resting Heart Rate'. People who are generally active, have lower resting HR and B/P, than those who do nothing at all. I could explain this in further detail about cardiac output, etc, etc, but I don't want to 'overwhelm' you with useless info. (medications can also affect your HR and B/P, but I assume that at your age your aren't on any heart medications)

Also you to have remember you are young too (not like a little 'kid', but you know what i mean), so youth is on your side. So you are not abnormal by any means.
