i like it but i dont really want it because i dont think that i will use all of the "gadgets" and stuff that it comes with. all i neeed is a cheap running watch witha timer. and thats it. what should i do?

Appreciate the thought and effort they put in, and if you haven't used the new one, hopefully they can return it so it's no big deal.
If they got you something like one of the Garmin Forerunners though, you might actually want to put in the time to figure out how it works. Some of the expensive running watches like that are actually worth it, and especially if you've already used it so it can't be returned, it might be better to put in the time to learn it fully.
