I would like a light weight and waterproof mp3 player that is strictly for music, but with sport functions like a stop watch, pedometer, ect. I would only need 1 or 2 GB for music storage.

Get the ipod nano does all of that, but you will need a waterproof case to run with it.

i have an ipod nano and it has a stopwatch. im pretty sure all ipods (excluding the shuffle) have stopwatches.
