Answer
Overseas visitors can watch debates in the House of Commons and the House of Lords from their public galleries, and also watch various committees in action.
There is no entry fee for any of these events. You just have to queue up on the day (expect to wait an hour or two for ordinary debates). None of these events is ticketed.

You can also take a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament.
These run on most Saturdays year-round and Monday â Saturday during the summer opening period (27 July to 1 September) when Parliament is on its summer break. There are no tours on Bank Holidays.

The tours are fascinating: highlights include the House of Lords and House of Commons, the splendid Westminster Hall (the oldest surviving part of Westminster Palace, built 1,000 years ago) and the Queenâs robing room.

Itâs a good idea to book in advance for the tours.
Book online

or by phone
0844 847 1672
or in person
from the ticket office adjacent to the Jewel Tower, opposite the Houses of Parliament.

There's no museum there, but there is a gift shop and a cafe.

Edit:
Sorry: forgot to give you the prices for the tours.

adults £15
children (5-15yrs) £6
students and over-60s £10
children under 5 go free but still need a ticket.

Who wants to be a millionaaire UK version, is it too easy?

Mike C

I've just been watching this show on ITV1 for the first time in years, and it seems that you can make lots of money extremely quickly. I remember a time when there were 15 questions so the money steps were quite small, but now there are only 12 questions to get a million pounds. And you also gain a swap lifeline once reached the 50K question.

Is it just me who thinks that's it's got to easy and it should go back to the old fashioned version with 15 questions?

Answer
I think they changed it to how it is run in other counties, we will see how many people make it to the million before we know if its too easy
