I need to purchase a gps watch to keep track of my runs. I need real life advice from people who have used these devices. Any information you can give me, good and bad, on a gps watch that would be good for running would be awesome. Thanks in advance
I should also mention I have a macbook. Is Garmin Mac compatible?

By & large, runners tend to go with Garmin because they tend to be the best all-in-one GPS devices. They have a ton of different models, so you'll need to compare the features of each & consider which ones you need. I'd start with this page:

From there, you can choose different models to compare side-by-side. All the Garmins I've had have been reliable, durable, long-lasting, & easy to use (if you read the manual). Personally, I like the models that include a heart monitor, but that's just my preference.
